With this service, I provide a custom Manuscript Feedback Report that combines the depth of an editorial letter with the insights of a Beta Reader, to give you a clear, reader-focused report that is structured, detailed, and actionable. With the Manuscript Feedback Report, you will understand how your story resonates, where it shines, and where adjustments could make it even stronger.

Your Manuscript Feedback Report will include:

• Plot: A summary of the story as I experienced it as a reader, followed by impressions of the plot, including clarity, flow, and engagement.

• First Impression: My immediate reactions, including emotional responses, moments of confusion, and when I felt most and least engaged.

• Characters: An individual analysis of the main characters, their development, interrelationships, and how distinct their voices and personalities are.

• Dialogue: Feedback on character voices, balance between narration and dialogue, clarity in speaker identification, and whether dialogue feels natural.

• Plausibility: Notes on whether character actions, ages, and decisions make sense in context, and whether they align with the story world.

• Genre: Evaluation of whether the story feels true to the intended genre in tone, style, and emotional impact.

• Romance: If applicable, commentary on character chemistry, romantic tension, likability of love interests, and believability of encounters.

• World Building: An assessment of world building, its consistency, richness, and clarity.

• Pace: Evaluation of rhythm and flow, including whether it fits the genre, whether there are info dumps, and whether adjustments in description or action could help.

• Overall Thoughts: A summary of strengths and areas for improvement, highlighting how the story resonated and what can be refined in the next draft.

Pricing

• Up to 30,000 words: $210 with an estimated 2-week turnaround

• 30,001 to 60,000 words: $310 with an estimated 3-week turnaround

• 60,001 to 90,000 words: $400 with an estimated 4-week turnaround

• 90,001 to 120,000 words: $553 with an estimated 5-week turnaround

• Projects over 120,000 words: Custom quote available
